Brooke did a fabulous job at the District Track Meet! She came in FIRST place in the long jump with a 13'6" jump (her best yet!). Both of her relays (8th grade girls), the 4x100 and the 4x200 also came in FIRST (the LBJ Middle School 8th grade girls relay teams are undefeated so far this season). She came in either 2nd or 4th in the 200m race. She did not have time to high jump so no results to report there.
She has her Albuquerque All-City Track and Field Meet Monday, April 27th--they will meet up with their biggest competition, Desert Ridge Middle School who fielded the only relay team to beat them last year at the all city meet. Good luck to Brooke and the rest of the LBJ athletes in the all-city meet!
