We all missed this for some reason and just found out (from reading Cibola's Athletic Director's web site--www.cibolasportszone.com) that Brent was chosen the Top Scholar Athlete from Cibola. Here's what it said on Phil Schroer's web site back in May 2008...
Top Scholar Athletes: For this award, I combine the four year cumulative GPA and contributions on the playing field. Male Winner: Brent Jorgensen. Brent’s outstanding speed was obvious on the football field and on the track. He was a deep threat as a receiver for Judge Chavez’s offense in the fall and a blur on the track in the spring for Coach Henry. Female Winner: Amber Menke asserted herself in several events for our district champion track and field team and showed her diversity with her gymnastics ability as a cheerleader at football and basketball games. Both of these senior scholar-athletes epitomize what it means to balance academics and the demands of participating in high school athletics.

Could I ask you a favor? Is it possible to get Haleigh's before and after braces pictures emailed to me? I don't have a scanner and would love to scrapbook / blog about her new beautiful smile thanks to Greg!
