Our Trip to St. Louis

Grandma took me, Brent, Brooke and Candace for a day trip to St. Louis. We started off at the St. Louis Arch. We were able to ride up to the top of the Arch so we could see all of downtown. We were also able to see where the river flooded the street a week or so ago. Workmen were spraying water on the bricks to get all of the mud out of the cracks.

After our trip to the arch, Brent, Brooke, and Candace took a tour of Busch Stadium where the Cardinals baseball team plays. They were able to see everything with the exception of the player locker rooms.

No trip to St. Louis would be complete without a visit to the world famous Ted Drewe's Frozen Custard stand.

We also spent a few hours at the Saint Louis Galleria mall. Brooke and Candace loved going to all of the stores; especially the ones we don't have in Albuquerque.

We ended our day at Morton's Steakhouse. Brent loves going there to eat AND to see the best busboy ever! I'm not sure of his real name, but he goes by G-Money. G-Money is the fastest busboy we've ever seen. He can set a table in less than a minute. Here's a video of "G" at work (pictures from our trip will be after the movie):

Here are pictures from the day:

Love the blog. I always am amazed to see your boys and not picture the little boys that I babysat. Check out our blog and if you are ever our way call!

Looks like you guys had a great time. I've only been there once and didn't get to see anything(we were whisked away to Nauvoo instead, and it was late at night). Were you dying in the heat/humidity?

BTW...I can't believe you haven't been to an isotopes game! The atmosphere is great, so relaxing...even in normal seats!

We actually had great weather for about 2/3 of the time we were there...totally abnormal :-)
