Salt Lake City for Thanksgiving Weekend

We decided to make a trip up to Salt Lake City for the Thanksgiving weekend to visit our three children: Brian and his wife Elise and Brent. We decided to stay at the Grand America Hotel. We were greeted with the chocolate piano (with chocolates inside of it) and a note thanking us for our return visit. I'm including a few pictures of our hotel room below.

Brooke really wanted to eat at "The Roof." What's cool about this restaurant is that it looks out over the Salt Lake Temple. After dinner, Brian, Elise, and I dropped off Greg, Brent, and Brooke at a Utah Jazz vs. Memphis basketball game. (I will add pictures if they ended up taking some during the game).

It's great to get our whole family together. That is why I love Thanksgiving...It's all about family.

We were greeted with a thank you note and fancy chocolates.

Me too. It is so hard to be so far away during the holidays... but watch out ABQ, we will be there this summer :)
